New keyboard for Shkayla’s Martin Barter
Just treated myself to this little beauty: a Roland FA 06. Well, you need a treat now and again.
I’m hoping to include this in my live set up with Shkayla real soon….there’s just the problem of going through the 2000 sounds on board first, and choosing the ones that are appropriate to our music.
The good thing for me about a new keyboard is it just helps with creating new song ideas whilst playing through these new sounds, and there is a 16 track sequencer included so I can get these ideas recorded.
I have, as well, just got my Nord Electro 3 repaired (my main Piano/Organ). There was a problem with several notes not playing properly, so I have had new pressure pads replaced over 5 octaves. This is like playing a new keyboard also!…so I have plenty of ‘stuff’ to do.
Why not come and enjoy these amazing new sounds when we play in Coventry on 30th April?
