Culture On The Move – postponed because of Corona Virus

We are sorry to announce that this gig has been postponed because of concerns to do with Corona Virus. The decision has been taken by Imagineer Productions and Coventry Irish Society, out of concern for some of the participants and likely audience who may be vulnerable to the virus.
All the event partners are on board and another date is being sought in late June or early July. As soon as we have more news we will let you know.
(We are delighted to take part in Culture On The Move, a day of Irish music, performance and dance. The programme features new and traditional arts performed by young people and adults from across the City. Working with professional artists and animators they address themes like migration, inter-generational perspectives and the role of creativity.
The programme runs from 12.00 – 4.00pm in two venues, JJ’s and the Skydome Events Space. Shkayla plays at 3.00pm in JJ’s. We will be featuring our more traditional material, with a contemporary twist. Some of this reflects the migratory experience of Irish people. There will be just one set, so don’t miss it!
