New Music from Joe O’Donnell

Posted by on Oct 23, 2025 in recordings, Survey

We are delighted to tell you about not one but two new albums by Joe O’Donnell due to drop in February 2026! They have been in development for over a decade.

One is a collection of traditional songs and melodies drawn from the Irish, Scottish and Breton traditions. The other reflects Joe’s calibre as a composer, combining his Celtic heritage with Rock and other contemporary stylings.

Together they offer a sweeping overview of Joe’s music-making over six decades! With typical humour he calls the project ‘Robbery with Violins’.

Do you buy music in physical formats?

We are still firming up on what formats to manufacture. Digital downloads and streaming are dominant these days, but how many fans still have an appetite for physical products – CDs, Vinyl, a well-presented box set?

To help us resolve this we have prepared a Sixty Second Survey just for fans of Joe O’Donnell.  A single minute of your time will let you have your say and help us make the right call for people like you.

Just follow this link to take part!

Many thanks!
